Ali İhsan Arslan Primary School for the Visually Impaired
Education is Every Child’s Right
Founded in 2005 in the Yenişehir district of Diyarbakır, the Ali İhsan Arslan School for the Visually Impaired is an important social responsibility project that supports access to education for visually impaired individuals. The school, which has a capacity of 80 students, offers dormitory accommodation for 72 students.
Well-equipped Educational Environment
The school has a total of 10 classrooms, a music workshop, a visual arts workshop, a sports hall, a library and an IT workshop. Physical conditions tailored to the individual needs of students ensure that they have a safe and productive learning environment.
Equality of Opportunity in Education
The school, which has been operating since 2005, prioritises the development of students’ independent living skills. In addition, since 2010, approximately 17,000 students have received scholarship support, enabling more children to access educational opportunities.
